Originals/Proofing: Processed medium format film is cut and returned in individual glassine. We offer numbered glassine service for corresponding negatives and originals, as well as backprinting with copyright, year, and your studio name.
Express Proofing: Express Proofing gives you fast turnaround time and the best price with the same high quality standards. This service is available from color 120 only with film returned cut and sleeved (glassine service not available).
Sloppy Borders: Give an artistic touch to your proofing with a rough beveled-out look around the print edge. Sloppy Borders are available from 35mm and 120 format films only.
K-Views: Create highest quality 35mm transparencies from your color negatives to enhance visual presentations. Available from C-41 process color negative film.
Browntones (Sepia): Browntone prints give you the look of old-fashioned sepia tone with the ease of printing on regular color paper stock. When submitting Kodak T400 or Portra 400 BW films, signify Browntone printing.
Metallic Paper: Your images snap with this color paper that produces brilliant, eye-catching colors with a glossy metallic sheen.
Automated Color Units: The most popular of our color printing options available from cut negatives. K&K provides a selection of 11 masks to accommodate your cropping preference.
Round Corner Wallets: A round edge die cut available on units and ½ units (service not available on individual wallets). The round corner procedure will crop approximately 1/16" into each wallet on all sides.
Color Unit Specials: Choose from multiple wallet specials, mix and match poses for the best pricing. Custom fit packages for any budget with our automated color unit printing.
Automated B&W Units: Fine quality black and white imaging on RC N surface paper is available with all the extras up to 8x10 when you order from masked negatives.
Pose Specials: Order a preset number of units with a wall portrait at a special price.
Class of 2005 (wallets): "Class of 2005" logo is printed on the bottom right-hand corner of the wallets in white lettering.
Personalized Wallets: Make it unique and personal with name imprinting on your senior wallets. The high school senior's name is printed in the lower right corner in white with a choice of typesetting (and add the year at no extra charge).
Locker Poster: 8x14 locker posters are a great add-on for your senior portraits.
Studio Business Cards: Business cards are 2½ x 3½ in size. Negatives should be masked for 2x3 printing (overlay charge will apply for printing). Lettering will appear white on the photographic background.
Automated Yearbooks and Custom Yearbooks: Auto Yearbooks are printed from negatives masked according to our cropping chart (see current catalog). Custom yearbooks are printed to your noted specifications.
Custom Prints: Custom Prints are hand-printed and include dodging, burning, vignetting, and cropping to your specifications.
Wall Portraits: Make it big! Wall portraits are prints 11x14 and larger and include all the options open to smaller prints. Negatives must be masked and are printed on N surface paper.
Gallery Portraits: The Gallery Portrait is a photographic image surrounded by a thick white border. Great for studio displays and sign boards for those big moments - graduations, wedding receptions, and other special events.
Panorama: Add an exciting new dimension to wedding folios. K&K's Panorama print features a photograph that stretches over a two-page spread in your folio presentation.
Prints From Slides: Create a print from 35mm through 4 x 5 format transparencies. Images are printed on E surface paper.
Competition Plus: The added attention your competition prints deserve. Competition Plus service includes one-on-one consultation with our custom printer to give the most to your competition print.
Slimline & Wideline Greeting Cards: Holiday and All Occasion cards in Slimline style (4" x 8") and Wideline (5" x 7"). Includes single side image and message cards and white envelopes.
Photo Style Greeting Cards: The decorative holiday cards come in a front cover photo format. Includes the cards, 3½ x 5 prints, and matching envelopes.
Texturing: Add a subtle decorative quality with Linen Texturing on prints up to 16 x 20. Mark your glassine for "texturing" when ordering.
Mounting: Give your images a firm backing with mounting services. Options include multi-ply mount board, 1/8" masonite board, 3/16" black gatorboard, or 3/4" standout.
Spray: Spray over prints provides an attractive and protective layer. Spray will be Lustre unless specified otherwise. Glossy and Klassic Texture Spray are also available.
Negative Retouching: Take care of the little imperfections. Negative Retouching includes the removal of blemishes and small scars, and softens harsh shadows and bags under the eyes.
Artwork: Traditional Artwork Services include all print enhancement and correction beyond normal dust spotting. This may include dye work, and pencil work.
Canvassing: Canvas prints transform images into fine art. The photograph is stripped of its thin RC backing, glued, and heat pressed. The print is then stretched with edges folded and the overhang is hand filed. Images may be mounted on masonite board or stretcher frame.
Brushstroke: Brushstroke utilizes a thick varnish, applied by hand to simulate brushstrokes on canvas. It also provides a lasting durable protective coat for the life of the image.
