Proof books
Compact, portable, and cost effective, K&K's Proof Books are the perfect way to show off your seniors, highlight your weddings, make your families smile, and add profit. Proof books can be ordered online with StudioLabLink or with an Order form.
Binding and Formats
K&K's Proof Book is a comb bound display piece with a photo cover that features the client's name and event date as well as your studio name. Inside your customer will find a proof sheet or sheets with a number or file name underneath each image. The inside pages also have your studio and client's name on it.
With two format sizes available, 8x10 or 10x14, and three template cover options to choose from, you can tailor the Proof Book to your event. It makes a fantastic sale item because it's fun and just made to be passed around and shared with family and friends. It's convenient for the bride and groom to share with family. Seniors can take it to school and hand it around to all their friends. And it's foolproof! Your customers can easily order off the file names listed under each image.
The 8x10 Proof Book gives you 8 images per page ($ 2.50 per page) while the 10x14 size gives you 12 images per proof page ($ 3.50 per page). Each image is printed to format (no cropping available) and each will have the file name printed underneath (Please note: The name of the file as received will be the name that appears underneath the image. Images are sorted and printed on the pages in alphanumeric order. We recommend that you rename your files in a 001, 002, 003 format).
Source images
Proof Books are available from film or digital files. Film scanning is charged at 35¢ per frame (your film will be returned uncut). Digital files must be rotated head up prior to submission.
Cover templates
Cover templates include the customer name and the event date or Class of 200X, as well as the studio name. Digital users can specify the image file(s) for the cover template. If you shoot film we will pick images to place on the cover for you (in the future this function will be available online). Alternately, you can provide your own custom cover. Binding is included at no extra charge. When ordering, simply write your client's name and the date of the event clearly and legibly either on the order envelope or on a separate sheet of paper included with your order.
